Meet Our Pastors
Pastors Joe & Julie Overholt

Pastors Joe and Julie met while attending the same church as teenagers, and after dating for three years married October 19, 1985. Their son Joe was born in 1987, followed a year a twelve days later by their daughter Jeannette. Pastor Joe worked in the corporate arena for 20 years prior to full time ministry. Pastor Julie homeschooled their two children until they reached high school, then they were enrolled into public school. Pastor Julie also worked as a violin instructor having been trained classically at Kent State University, teaching children and adults, both at home and at a studio, in the art of playing the violin.
Pastors Joe and Julie became very active in their local church after they were married. Pastor Julie, being a concert violinist, served on various praise and worship teams, and served as choir director leading the choir to sing as part of a group choir in the performance of the “Young Messiah” tour. Pastor Joe served as usher, sound, and visitation team member. Together they served by ministering to the children in nursery, and children’s church departments.
In 1990, they left their home church to help a pastor pioneer a church in Kenmore, Ohio. While they were not on paid staff, they served their pastor and church in various capacities. They ministered in leading praise and worship, door greeting, children’s ministry, ushering, hospital visitation, visitor follow-up visitation, and their passion as youth pastors. It was during this time the Lord Jesus began revealing to them that they were to attend Rhema Bible Training Center to further their ministerial training. They resigned from their responsibilities, to prepare for their move to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
In 1994, Pastors Joe and Julie resigned their secular jobs, sold their house in Akron, Ohio, and moved their two children, household, and their dog to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to follow God’s plan for their lives. The Lord proved Himself faithful throughout their schooling at Rhema Bible Training Center, and they both graduated in 1996. It was during their second year of bible school that the Lord Jesus revealed to them that they were to pioneer a church in Massillon, Ohio. After graduation, they moved back to Ohio, and pioneered Church on the Move in Massillon, Ohio.
Pastors Joe and Julie are licensed and ordained both through Rhema Ministerial Association International, and through Faith Christian Fellowship International Church, Inc. They continue to fulfill their passion by pouring their lives into the church family, and the School of Ministry, of Church on the Move.
